.NET Domain Name Registrations
When the .NET universal top-level extension was initially launched in 1985, together with the first domain name extensions on the Internet, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. In view of the fact that there were no specific restrictions about the usage of the top-level extension, though, dot NET domains were acquired and used for diverse purposes and by a great number of people. This extension is a wonderful substitution for .COM, notably if the desirable domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.
Ordering a dot NET domain with our company is as easy as 1-2-3 and takes only a couple of minutes, taking into account that we partner with an ICANN-approved registrar company. You can book such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already have a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it after the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are unlocked and that you have an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures introduced by the dot NET Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily correct the WHOIS contact details of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you don’t want this info to be visible at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to check your true contact information.
The .NET TLD supports internationalized names, so you can take a decision if you want to focus on a specific country or zone using a domain name in the local language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
