A: The website migration service available at LANCO Web Hosting is absolutely free of charge and involves moving all your web files, databases and e–mails from your present web hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We will also edit all the configuration settings needed for your sites to be fully functional on our avant–garde cloud hosting platform.Our techs are completely capable of moving just about any website. With years of work experience behind their backs, they are experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other popular Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built web application with lots of custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a plain WordPress blog.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time window, because there are many factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to move your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (if the content is not very large).

A: We don’t collect any private data. We’ll require, though, the login info for your current web hosting account as well as the name of the website that you would like to migrate.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose more or less the same details you have given to your old web host. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is used.

A: No. Your website will continue to be online during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we will tell you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything’s fine, all you will need to do is edit your domain name’s DNS resource records.

A: Nah. Aside from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we will not require anything. We will never contact your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. In essence, if we can obtain access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
